18 May National Children’s Book Week – Bienville Parish Library
The week of May 4 - 8, 2015 was National Children's Book Week, and Kourtni stopped by the Bienville Parish Library to speak to Pre-K, Kindergarten, and 1st grade classes in the Arcadia and Ruston area. She read Little Miss Dancey Pants, taught the students basic dance moves, and the teachers even participated in a contest! Check it out below.
18 May Author Speaks at Berg Jones Lane Elementary – Monroe, LA
Kourtni and artist Vitus Shell were invited to speak to the 2nd and 3rd grade classes of Berg Jones Elementary School in Monroe, LA on April 30, 2015. The kids heard Kourtni and Vitus explain how they began pursuing their talents in elementary school. Take a look a few of the pictures below!
